Our Greyhound and Lurcher adoption group stands out from the rest because we prioritize your experience and our dogs' well-being.

Sarah and her husband, Mike, live in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We were so happy that Sarah chose Mustang--despite his shy nature--he still managed to charm her. What a wonderful outcome for everyone!

The Wright family adopted Dixie in early 2024. They are enjoying her so much--they opened their home and hearts to adding another sweet Lurcher to their pack. We are so happy to share this news.

Jack is pictured here with Jo and her mom, Vanessa. The rest of the family was waiting patiently back home. Jack has a Greyhound big sister named Pepper! Happy days ahead.

Dr. Nick Jeffrey a faculty member at Texas A&M Veterinary School has adopted Teddy. Nick is not stranger to Lurchers since he previously lived in the UK. Teddy has adjusted quickly to his new home and family. Outstanding!!
We’d love to hear from you—whether you're ready to adopt, have questions, or want to report a sighthound in need.
We welcome all adoption applications and give first preference to individuals or families in or near Lubbock. However, we’re also open to out-of-town and out-of-state adoptions, as long as:
Most adopters will need to travel to Lubbock to meet or pick up their dog, though meeting part-way may be possible. Each situation is considered on a case-by-case basis. We do not charge a processing fee to apply to adopt one of our dogs. Submit your application and let’s begin the conversation.
Please contact us immediately if you’ve found a Greyhound or Lurcher wearing one of our group’s ID tags.
We want to help and have been notified many times about dogs that are out loose on the streets, in nearby shelters, abandoned, injured, or other similar situations where they plainly need our help and support. Keep in mind, resources are limited and proximity to Lubbock has to be considered. If we cannot help, we will try and offer advice and suggestions.
