Princess Leia

Princess Leia was rescued from the animal shelter in San Angelo where she was picked up as a stray. We have no idea of her heritage or background. Her appearance is mostly Greyhound. We did a DNA test and Princess is 3/4's sighthound--including Greyhound, Borzoi, and Wolfhound. She is 1/8 mixed breed and 1/8 American Staffordshire Terrier--Isn't that interesting? 


Princess Leia was adopted by the Rutter's in Portales, who had rescued their male Greyhound about two years ago when he was found as a stray in Portales. As you can see, the two dogs are inseparable and hard to tell apart--Princess has a turquoise collar. We are so happy for Princess and her new family!
