Raider 

​Raider is a young male that doesn't have the temperament to race. Raider's birthday is June 28, 2013. His brother--GLS Breakaway--renamed George was recently adopted and is adjusting very well.  Raider is GLS AllDeckedOut. Follow the link to see his pedigree.


Raider moved in with John and his recently adopted Greyhound named Slatex Emerald. Here's the link to Emerald's background. 


Raider is still tentative when he first meets someone. We took Emerald out to the farm and she was fantastic with the shy and nervous Raider. They walked together and when we let them loose in the run--she was hilarious and insisted that he run and play with her. It was a sight to see and we were so happy that Raider was finally enjoying himself and at ease.


We appreciate John for adopting Emerald and opening his home and heart to a second Greyhound in need. John sent this update, "Raider is doing great...he's a funny dog and a love bug--he would get in my lap if he could!" Happy ending--wag, wag.
